We Need Your Help! – Storytelling Skills

Recently the museum was the recipient of the Welsh Government/Welsh Federation of Museums/Amgueddfa Cymru Winter of Wellbeing grant, designed to provide funding and support to the museum sector to deliver a programme of events and activities developed with and for children and young people.As a result of tis grant the museum is creating Collecting Collections, a storytelling club based around creative stories  on items from the museum’s collections.  We will be working with renowned storytellers Phil Okwedy and Peter Stevenson.

Do you know a young person interested in gaining storytelling skills? We are looking for a 16 -24 year old to assist in facilitating Capturing Collections Storytelling Club at Tenby Museum, beginning Saturday 19th February.

Initially, (4 weeks) this is a paid opportunity. After that period it is hoped that the successful candidate(s) will continue to facilitate the running of the club supported by Phil Okwedy.
