Anya Ward is an abstract painter with a home studio in Pembrokeshire, where she works and lives with her 3 young children.

“I am excited to share this collection of paintings with an audience. The collection as a whole has been 12 months in the making. I paint about the spiritual. I am in a continuous cycle of learning that happens through death (rest, letting go), birth (inspiration, activation) and the liminal spaces between. Each cycle brings me more directly into contact with my Higher Self in its embodied form. Rituals form part of life’s design and I use them to hold and process feelings, whether done using our ancestral traditions or the ritual of painting itself where I plumb the depths of my psyche to produce even better, more vital work.”

Anya exhibits in contemporary art galleries around Wales and the UK and her work is held in private collections in the UK, Europe, US, Canada & Australia.
