GREENLAND: THE WORLD’S LARGEST ISLAND – cancelled

27 Mar 25 - 27 Mar 25

This event has now been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Greenland – not so green, but a fascinating wilderness of vast tundra and immense glaciers, eighty per cent of the land being covered in snow and ice. With an area of 836,330 square miles (2.16 million square kilometres) and a population of around 60,000 people, it is one of the least known and most sparsely populated countries in the world. Abundant with wildlife from Polar Bears to Narwhal, Musk Ox to Seals, Whales and the Greenland Shark, it is a magnificent but challenged nation. It has now become the focus of the world’s attention, which may or may not be to its benefit.

Join Mick Brown for his presentation based on his experiences of having spent a year in various locations of this extraordinary island nation.
