Our Community Talks Offer

Do you represent a Pembrokeshire based community group or organisation that books guest speakers?

At Tenby Museum & Art Gallery we would be delighted to send our Outreach & Education Officer, Glyn Harries to speak for you!

Glyn holds a B.A (Hons) in History and has two talks that he can offer for the community:

Ten Historical Figures of Tenby

An excellent introductory talk for those who would like to learn more about some of the most prominent figures that are known to have had links with Tenby. Some names might be familiar, whilst others might surprise you!

Celtic Mythology

This talk looks at a variety of myths and legends from Welsh culture and folklore. From tales of the mighty Afanc of the River Conwy to the ghostly Barbary ape of Carew Castle, with many having very local links!

Both talks are approximately one hour in duration, and can be accompanied by an optional slideshow. As a registered charity, a donation in the region of £35.00 would be greatly appreciated for receiving these talks.
