D-Day – the View from Across the Channel

6 Jun 24 - 6 Jun 24

Join us at Tenby Museum for this D-Day 80th Anniversary talk by Curator David Llewellyn.
The story of D-Day is well known, so this talk looks at it from the different perspective of facing the invasion.  We go through the events of the day, and learn about some of the characters involved.
Perhaps discover more about D-Day, including a Field Marshal on holiday, coup plotters, the world’s worst weather forecast, breakfast at Hitlers, a terrible birthday present, a baron without a phone, resisting French, reluctant Russians, bicycling Germans, a Latin American actress, and of course – the SAS!
This talk will be approximately one hour in duration, and will commence at 6:00pm.
Tickets: £6.00 (Friends £5.00)
To book your ticket call us on 01834 842809.
