Volunteers: Front of House

Do you enjoy visiting our Museum? Well now is the chance to become a part of it!

In order to keep our Museum ticking over, we rely on the passion and commitment of our wonderful team of volunteers.

We are looking for volunteers to join the below teams to help us tell the story of Tenby & South Pembrokeshire as well as to help with the running of events.

Front of House

Our front of house team greet all visitors to the museum, organise our small giftshop and answer visitor enquiries ranging from our collections to what next to do on a rainy day. Our front of house team also help us set up for exhibition openings during opening hours as well as designing new trails for our younger visitors.

Collections

Our collections team help us care for all of our collections, with the opportunity to work on either a project or task basis they are usually found packaging, documenting or photographing the museums extensive collections. with an estimation of over 40,000 objects & documents held this is a vital part of our team.

Green fingered?

Following our recent refurbishment we are also seeking a volunteer to give a little time when they can to help keep the front of the museum looking great, this would involve some basic gardening and caring for our planters.

We would still love to hear from you, we are always happy to discuss flexible volunteering options as well as to hear how else you may be able to help us preserve and tell the story of Tenby.
